I did a google search, and it seems this is a known issue, and can be resolved by using the LG drivers rather than the generic Windows drivers.
As a result, I dug out the CD that came with the monitor, and tried to install the OEM driver. The problem is that the CD only has drivers up to Vista.
I checked the LG website, and they had a Win7 zip file, but it only contains an INF file (setup.inf), and ICC file (W1953.icc), and a security catalog file (W1953.cat). There is no setup.exe file, and as a result, I don't know how to install the driver.
I checked the online manual - there was no relevant info that I could find
I sent an email to their tech support, and all they did was point me to the zip file I already had found. They did not provide instructions on installing the new driver.
Can anyone help me work thru this?
